Agathe van de Plassche and Matti van Hecke join PI Brussels as new Managing Partners.

Agathe van de Plassche and Matti van Hecke join Isabelle De Vinck and Andrea D’Incecco as Managing Partners of Political Intelligence Brussels after several years in the company. Both Agathe and Matti have been active employees of PI for several years before stepping up to the position of Managing Partners.

Agathe’s activity within the company revolves around EU accounts in the Energy, Transport, and Food & Health sectors, Communications oversight, client happiness, and HR processes. Matti’s activity’ is focused on Belgian accounts across sectors and the strategic oversight of Belgian affairs, as well as EPACAand PACE.

Both Agathe and Matti are delighted to continue their strong relationship with PI Brussels and look forward to what the exciting future ahead and the continued development and growth of the company.

The new Managing Partners bring diversity of expertise and knowledge to the managing team

Brussels, 2 February 2023 Political Intelligence (PI) Brussels, a consultancy which provides public affairs and strategic communications services to the EU, Belgium, and Luxembourg markets announces two new Managing Partners, Agathe van de Plassche and Matti Van Hecke. They join Isabelle De Vinck and Andrea D’Incecco in managing the company, expanding the leadership team and broadening its expertise.

Speaking on his new position, Matti Van Hecke said: “I’m delighted to become one of the Managing Partners at PI and to continue working alongside a team of bright and engaged colleagues to provide our clients with quality public affairs and communications services. I look forward to contributing to PI’s reputation as a trusted partner to clients and stakeholders alike in my new role as Managing Partner, as well as continuing my involvement in the public affairs sector associations EPACA and PACE”.

Agathe van de Plassche shared her thoughts on her new position: “I started out at PI as an intern when we had a small but ambitious team. It’s a privilege to be taking this next step within the company that I myself have grown in, and at the side of Isabelle, Andrea, and Matti. I’m excited to have an even greater part in shaping the company as it grows and faces the opportunities and challenges ahead, to collaborate together to reach our common ambitions, and to help our clients reach theirs.”

Since its founding in 1997, PI Brussels has built out its portfolio across diverse sectors including digital, energy, transport, food, health, and more. In recent years, PI Brussels has expanded upon its services of policy analysis and public affairs to include communications and public relations, helping clients share their messages effectively with relevant audiences across diverse channels. The team and office has seen similar growth, with PI Brussels now counting almost 50 employees and having expanded its office space to meet the team’s need.

“After over 15 years of managing PI Brussels together, Andrea and I are delighted to have two more fellow Managing Partners to work alongside us, especially two of our own.
