Maria holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Cyprus, and a master’s degree in social and Cultural Anthropology from KU Leuven, with a specialisation in Digital Anthropology. During her studies, she loved learning about people’s different cultures and backgrounds through science. Her passion for understanding people, first grown through ethnographic interviews and social research, naturally led her to the HR field within the EU context. Before joining Political Intelligence, she worked as an HR management assistant, where she supported strategic workforce planning and the development of digital HR solutions. A native Greek speaker, she is fluent in English and Spanish, has a working knowledge of Dutch and is currently learning French.
