As a Consultant at Political Intelligence Brussels, Maria specialises in events organisation and trade association management across sectors, such as food, health, EU transparency and digital. Her role involves planning and coordinating events from A to Z, including policy events and General Assemblies of associations and coalitions, managing membership and governance bodies and supporting internal & external communications. Before joining Political Intelligence as a policy comms intern, she was a trainee at the Council of the European Union, focusing on EU enlargement in the Western Balkans, and worked as an EU policy, comms and events assistant at a trade association.
Maria holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from KU Leuven and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from University of Piraeus. A native Greek speaker, she is also fluent in English and French and has good command of Spanish.
