As a Consultant at Political Intelligence Brussels, Maria specialises in events organisation and trade association management across sectors, such as food, health, digital, EU compliance & transparency. Her role involves planning and coordinating events from A to Z, including policy events and General Assemblies of associations and coalitions, managing membership and governance bodies and supporting internal & external communications. Before joining Political Intelligence as a policy comms intern, she was a trainee at the Council of the European Union, focusing on EU enlargement in the Western Balkans, and worked as an EU policy, comms and events assistant at a trade association.
Maria holds a Master’s degree in European Studies from KU Leuven and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from University of Piraeus. A native Greek speaker, she is also fluent in English and has good command of French and Spanish.
