As Associate Director at Political Intelligence Brussels, Sara leads the Energy, Mobility and Sustainability practice, where she is responsible for its strategic development and overall direction. Over the past years, she has advised multinational corporations and trade associations on EU regulatory and policy matters across a wide range of sectors, including aviation, alternative and low-carbon fuels, waste and water management, utility-scale solar, electric mobility and charging infrastructure, automotive, carbon removal technologies and corporate sustainability. With a strong track record in managing client accounts, Sara supports organisations at all levels, from policy teams to C-suite executives, offering tailored guidance on legislative processes, stakeholder engagement and public affairs positioning in Brussels.
Sara began her career with a traineeship in the European Parliament, supporting a Slovenian Member of the European Parliament on the Committee for Environment (ENVI). She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zurich, where she specialised in European environmental law and governance. A native Slovenian speaker, she is fluent in English and is currently working on her French and German.
