1. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Political Intelligence undertakes to comply with the applicable legislation and regulations and in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
2. Compliance
Political Intelligence implements the necessary tools to ensure a high level of compliance with applicable legislation and regulations. These tools are detailed in this policy and implemented within our company.
- Fairness: We will process Personal Data fairly. This means that we are transparent about how we process Personal Data and that we will process it in accordance with applicable law.
- Lawfulness: We will process Personal Data only on lawful grounds.

3. Register of personal data processing
As part of its commitment to the protection of personal data, Political Intelligence maintains a detailed register of the processing of personal data. This register includes the following processing operations in particular: Management of data protection requests, Management of contact forms, Evaluation of employees and consultants, and Stakeholders mapping.
4. Personal rights management
Political Intelligence deploys an individual rights management procedure. This procedure gives you total control over your personal data. Through this procedure, you can exercise your rights relating to your personal data namely:
- If you wish to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your Personal Data
- In addition, in certain circumstances, as stipulated in the applicable data protection legislation, you can object to processing of your Personal Data, ask us to restrict processing of your Personal Data, or request portability of your Personal Data.
- If we have collected and process your Personal Data with your consent, then you can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing we conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your Personal Data conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.
5. Security of personal data
Political Intelligence is particularly committed to the security of your personal data. It therefore implements technical and organisational measures to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of your personal data.
6. Subcontractors
Political Intelligence ensures the compliance of its service providers and subcontractors with GDPR requirements.
7. Personal data breach management
Political Intelligence implements a personal data breach management procedure and acts proactively to remedy any breach and mitigate its effects.
8. Monitoring and updating
Political Intelligence deploys a data protection monitoring strategy to ensure that your personal data is continuously protected. This includes keeping a close eye on new regulations and best practices in data protection and cybersecurity.
9. Employee/consultant training and awareness
Political Intelligence trains its employees and consultants in the protection of personal data. Each employee and consultant is trained on the key principles of the GDPR, on good data protection practices, and on the internal procedures to be followed in this area.

We may update this Notice from time to time in response to changing legal, technical or business developments. When we update our Notice, we will take appropriate measures to inform you, consistent with the significance of the changes we make. We will obtain your consent to any material Notice changes if and where this is required by applicable data protection laws.
