Ward holds a Master of Science in Comparative and International Politics from the KU Leuven, specializing in International Politics. During his studies he gained experience by doing an internship as a parliamentary assistant in the Flemish Parliament and as a board member for student organization KUL Model United Nations. After his studies, he worked as a project assistant at the Green European Foundation, gaining further political insight. Ward is a native Dutch speaker, while also being fluent in English and has a good knowledge of French.
