Wouter Lox

Wouter is a Brussels-based public affairs professional with more than 30 years of experience in association leadership, EU advocacy, industry representation and sustainable business. He is a senior advisor for Political Intelligence, providing C-level advice to associations and companies, and serves as Secretary General of Fedima, the European federation of bakery, patisserie and confectionery ingredient manufacturers, and of CEIR, the European association for taps and valves.
Over the years, he has helped interest representations strengthen their voice in Brussels, especially on governance, positioning and stakeholder engagement. He previously led AIJN, the European Fruit Juice Association, and EuSalt, served for over 15 years as Treasurer of the European Food Law Association, and is the founder of Pontis Leadership, which places experienced interim Secretary Generals and CEOs in European associations, and of LiGo, a consultancy offering association management services. A bioengineer trained at Ghent University, with a postgraduate degree in Packaging Management (VUB). He works in Dutch, English and French.
